Grow Your Christmas Holiday with
Northern Connection:
Christmas Trees, Wreathes, & Nursery
“Who Crafts the North”
Fresh-cut trees and handcrafted holiday greenery rooted in Northern Minnesota's forests
Northern Connection Christmas Trees, Wreaths & Nursery sustainably harvest evergreen boughs and other decorative plants from our North woods to hand make our evergreen products. We hand pick & harvest our farm grown Christmas trees from family owned farms in Minnesota, Michigan UP & WI. As well as our own natural tree field on our property. It’s more than just a place to purchase trees, wreaths, garland, evergreens, evergreen containers, & other decorative items. It’s a fun & memorable experience for the whole family. The region's northern climate produces trees with dense needles, strong branch structure, and the kind of cold-season fragrance that simply can't be replicated by a lot that's had its inventory sitting for weeks. Whether you're outfitting a front porch or decorating an entire home, the seasonal freshness of what grows here is the starting point for everything offered.
When you order from Northern Connections, you’re not choosing between a handful of generic options—you’re selecting greenery sourced from the regions where each variety thrives best. Our Balsam Firs (which we call our "fancy firs"), Concolor Firs, and Myers Spruces are hand-picked and hand-sheared from an Upper Peninsula Michigan tree farm. For our Fraser Firs, we partner with southern Minnesota and Wisconsin tree farms, since they don't grow as far north in this climate, while our White and Scotch Pines come from West Central tree farms where they grow to absolute perfection. Best of all, we also feature our own planted, naturally grown trees harvested right on our land in Northern Minnesota.
Beyond the trees themselves, our product line extends to Christmas wreaths, custom Christmas wreaths, Christmas garland, porch pots, bough bundles, and Christmas swags, crosses, and specialty greenery—giving you the flexibility to coordinate your entire holiday display from a single trusted source.
There's something grounding about knowing exactly where your holiday greenery comes from and that it was recently alive and growing in a northern forest before it arrived at your home. Northern Connections brings that sense of authenticity to customers nationwide, season after season.

From Forest to Front Door: How Ordering Works
Every order placed with Northern Connections connects you directly to fresh-cut product sourced from Northern Minnesota — not a regional warehouse or a secondary distributor. Because the company ships nationwide, the ordering process is built around clear communication and advance coordination so your trees and greenery arrive at the right time for your holiday timeline. Reaching out early in the season is the most reliable way to secure your preferred species and any custom items.
Custom Christmas wreaths, in particular, benefit from early planning since they're made to order. Porch pots, bough bundles, and specialty greenery like swags and crosses round out what's available, so a single coordinated order can cover both your indoor tree and all of your exterior decorating needs.
Here's a look at what you can order through Northern Connections:

Rooted in Northern Minnesota, Built on Seasonal Integrity
Northern Connections Christmas Trees, Wreathes, & Nursery operates from Two Harbors, Minnesota — a part of the state where the climate, soil, and growing conditions produce holiday greenery with a character and freshness that's hard to come by elsewhere. The product line is grounded in what actually grows here: Fraser Firs with their firm, upward-angled branches; Balsam Firs carrying that unmistakable northern forest scent; White Pines with their distinctive soft silhouette. These aren't interchangeable commodities — they're specific trees from a specific place.
That specificity carries through to every product in the lineup, from the handcrafted custom wreaths to the porch pots and bough bundles prepared each season. The commitment to offering genuinely fresh, Northern Minnesota-grown greenery — shipped reliably to customers across the country — is what defines how Northern Connections operates and what keeps the quality consistent year after year.
